Do I need Premium to use Inventory Rules?
No. The free plugin provides minimum quantities, maximum quantities, increments, global defaults, product and variation rules, cart validation and WooCommerce Store API quantity limits.
Can I use a minimum without a maximum?
Yes. A maximum can be left blank when you do not want an upper purchase limit.
What does a quantity increment do?
It defines the allowed steps between quantities. With a minimum of 5 and an increment of 5, customers can purchase 5, 10, 15 and so on.
Can individual products override global defaults?
Yes. A product can inherit global defaults or use its own custom rule.
Can individual variations have different rules?
Yes. Variation-level rules allow individual variations to have their own purchasing controls.
What does Premium add?
Premium adds category rules, category priority, presets, advanced bulk editing, customer role rules, schedules, custom messages, frontend guidance, quantity rule groups, advanced conditions, analytics, diagnostics, copy rules and advanced templates.
Does Premium require the free plugin?
Yes. Inventory Rules Premium is an add-on and requires Inventory Rules for WooCommerce as well as WooCommerce.
Does Premium require Product Platform?
Yes. Product Platform is required for Premium license activation and management.
Does the free plugin require a license?
No. The free plugin does not require an account or license key for its free functionality.
Where are global defaults configured?
Open Inventory Rules → Settings and configure the global defaults there.
Where are product rules configured?
Open the WooCommerce product editor and use the Inventory Rules panel.
Can I control combined quantities across products?
Yes. Premium Quantity Rule Groups can enforce combined minimum and maximum quantities for a group.
