Most Inventory Rules issues come down to rule inheritance, an unexpected rule source, invalid quantity settings, or the required plugins not being active.
My product is not following the rule
Check the product's Inventory Rules panel first. Confirm whether it is set to inherit global rules or use a custom rule. With Premium active, also check whether a category rule, group, condition or other rule source is taking precedence.
The quantity I enter is rejected
Check the minimum, maximum and increment together. For example, a minimum of 5 and increment of 5 means 6 is not a valid quantity; the expected sequence is 5, 10, 15 and so on.
I need to know which rule is winning
Premium's Rule Diagnostics can show where the product rule comes from and which rule wins. This is particularly useful when several advanced rule sources are configured.
Premium features are locked
Make sure the free Inventory Rules for WooCommerce plugin is active first, followed by Product Platform and Inventory Rules Premium. Then check Inventory Rules → License and confirm the Premium license is activated.
WooCommerce Blocks / Store API
The free plugin includes WooCommerce Store API quantity limits. If a Blocks-based experience is behaving differently, first confirm WooCommerce is up to date and that the rule itself is valid.
Customers see the wrong message
Free validation provides standard quantity feedback. Premium adds Custom Customer Messages and Frontend Quantity Guidance when you need more control over what customers see.
Still stuck?
Record the product, rule source, minimum, maximum and increment involved. If Premium is installed, include any diagnostic information available. This makes support much faster.
